Company

Our client is a fast-growing, research-driven technology company based in the heart of London. Operating in the dynamic and fast-paced world of data analysis and sports markets, they build proprietary, highly automated systems to identify investment opportunities. With a flat hierarchy and collaborative ethos, this team combines scientific thinking with cutting-edge software development to deliver tangible impact in a high-performance environment.

The Role

We are looking for Mid-Level to Senior Full-Stack Developers with strong C#/.NET expertise to join a close-knit, high-calibre team. You'll be building and maintaining in-house systems across a modern Microsoft tech stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server), including contributing to greenfield projects where your voice will shape design and architecture from the outset.

This is a full-stack role with the opportunity to work on all layers of the application, and offers exposure to data-driven workflows, trading systems, and innovative research tools. The environment is non-corporate, agile, and highly collaborative - ideal for someone who enjoys technical ownership and working closely with like-minded experts.

Your Experience

We're looking for developers who bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Strong recent experience in C# and the .NET platform.

  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, or other RDBMS.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in multi-threaded development or low-latency systems.

  • Exposure to front-end JavaScript frameworks like React.

  • Understanding of network programming (TCP/UDP).

  • Familiarity with distributed version control (e.g. Git, Hg, PlasticSCM).

  • A strong grasp of Windows technologies.

Most importantly, they value smart, conscientious individuals who are collaborative, curious, and eager to learn-trading experience is not required.

The Benefits
  • Competitive salary, based on experience and interview performance.

  • Strong focus on professional growth and learning.

  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a research-led environment.

  • A relaxed, non-corporate culture with a flat structure.

  • Perks including private healthcare, pension scheme, gym membership, healthy snacks, and team outings.

  • Emphasis on work-life balance and a supportive, people-first atmosphere.
