Lead Platform Engineer - Azure Data Services, Terraform, IaC
£Market Rate per day (Inside IR35)
London/Hybrid
My client is an instantly recognisable organisation who urgently require a Lead Platform Engineer with strong experience working with Azure Data Services and strong terraform / IaC skills.Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead Platform Engineer within Cloud Engineering, with a strong focus on data platforms
- Expertise in Azure Data Services (including provisioning)
- Strong understanding of Azure Data Factory
- Understanding of Data Platform architectures
- Advanced (IaC) Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform)
- Good knowledge of container security and compliance
- Extensive work within data processing frameworks
- Expertise of CI/CD pipelines for containerised workloads and working knowledge of building containers
- Knowledge of cost optimisation techniques within data platforms
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
- Immediate availability
- Previous insurance / financial services industry experience
- Flexible approach to hybrid working
