Over the past two years, they've grown from 30 to over 140 employees and are solving some of the world's most technically complex challenges across sectors including medical devices, aerospace, renewables, and semiconductors.

Their core mission is to develop high-performance platforms that power next-generation simulation and predictive technologies. With a team made up of top-tier engineers, scientists, and technologists, they're now building out their internal engineering capability following a strategic shift from services to product.

The RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional product team, contributing across the full software development lifecycle. This is a hands-on technical role with significant architectural input, and you'll be expected to own design and delivery of core backend systems, helping to manage the huge data volumes generated by physics-based and ML-driven simulations.

You'll work on novel problems in performance computing, data infrastructure, and scalable systems, collaborating with domain experts and ML engineers to build robust, production-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development: design, build, deploy, and support software solutions.

• Drive architectural decisions and help define engineering best practices.

• Work with large datasets and infrastructure tailored to simulation/ML environments.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers in multi-disciplinary teams.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a high-quality engineering culture.

Tech Stack

• Core: Python, Django, SQL, AWS

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes (must-have), Docker, Helm

• Frontend: TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS

• Experience with scalable architectures and large data processing pipelines is key.

Ideal Profile

• Experience in software engineering (flexible if you've had significant impact).

• Background in building platforms or infrastructure at product-led tech companies or consultancies.

• Strong system design and architecture experience, especially for data-intensive environments.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Work Policy

• Hybrid working with 2 days per week in-office (based in Shoreditch).

• Full remote flexibility or travel/accommodation support is not offered at this level.
