We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a fast-moving Agile team for a digital transformation project in a government setting.
The role involves hands-on development and improvement of internal platforms using Microsoft Power Platform technologies like Canvas Apps and Power Automate.
Candidates should have strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Agile methodologies, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, and the salary is competitive based on experience.
Familiarity with secure coding practices and prior experience in public sector projects are considered advantageous.

The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a small, fast-moving Agile team delivering a major digital transformation project within a government environment. This is a hands-on role focused on building and improving internal platforms using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Canvas Apps, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain applications using Canvas Apps and Power Apps
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and iterative delivery
Ensure development aligns with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards
Support integration with existing systems and data sources
Maintain documentation and share technical knowledge across the team

What We're Looking For

Strong experience building applications in Microsoft Power Platform
Hands-on knowledge of Power Apps, particularly Canvas Apps
Familiarity with Agile ways of working and the GDS service standard
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Able to work effectively in a remote team with occasional in-person meetings

Nice to Have

Experience with Power Automate, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365
Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection principles
Prior experience working on public sector or government projects
