The Role
We are looking for a well-rounded Software Developer to join our core technology team. This is a full-stack role, with a focus on backend development in C# and SQL Server, alongside frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks.
You'll be working on a mature, custom-built broking platform, contributing to both backend services and user-facing functionality. You will be expected to contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from planning and implementation through to testing and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend components using C# (.NET Framework / .NET Core)
- Write efficient, well-structured queries and stored procedures in SQL Server
- Implement and update frontend components using Vue.js or Angular 2+
- Collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders to define and deliver new features
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the stack
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high development standards
- Support production systems and contribute to ongoing performance improvements
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid experience with C# / .NET Framework or .NET Core
- Strong SQL skills, particularly with SQL Server
- Understanding of web application architecture and REST APIs
- Willingness and ability to work on frontend features as well as backend
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience with Vue.js or Angular 2+
- Exposure to modern CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms
