Excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking software developer with 1-3 years' experience to join a brilliant client's team who specialise within the sports trading markets. The successful software developer will need to have a strong educational background with at least a BSc degree in STEM subject from a top university. You will be given the opportunity to work with the latest technologies whilst being encouraged to work on projects you enjoy. The successful software developer will be responsible for implementing new features for a trading platform, diagnosing issues, and fixing bugs. Our client has several different systems across the business so can consider candidates with strong knowledge of either Python or C++. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior developer who wants to expand their skill set further.
This role is hybrid with our client expecting the development team to work from the London office at least 2 days per week. As well as very competitive salaries, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes a bonus scheme.
Skills required:
- Excellent academic background - At least a 2:1 in STEM subject from top University
- Experience in Python or C++ is essential
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of trading platforms would be beneficial
