We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our public sector client on a contract basis. Please note this role is outside IR35 and requires 2 days per week onsite.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, C#, .NET framework, and JMeter, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality automation solutions to support testing efforts for complex applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with C# and .NET
- Design and implement performance testing scripts with JMeter
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and identify testing requirements
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, report, and track bugs and issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality standards are met
- Any knowledge of GDS frameworks would be advantageous
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in automation testing with Selenium and C#
- Strong knowledge of the .NET framework
- Experience with performance testing using JMeter
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools
- Good understanding of REST APIs and web services testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
