Role Overview:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a RICS-accredited Damp and Mould Surveyor to join our team in East London. In this permanent role, you'll be responsible for managing and resolving damp, mould, and disrepair issues in residential properties. Your work will ensure properties meet health and safety standards and remain safe and comfortable for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys to assess and diagnose damp, mould, and condensation issues in residential properties.

  • Develop treatment plans and manage the remediation of damp and disrepair problems, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

  • Provide expert advice on disrepair claims, working with housing officers, legal teams, and residents.

  • Collaborate with contractors, housing officers, and residents to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

  • Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on inspections and completed works.

Requirements:

  • RICS accreditation in Building Surveying with expertise in Damp & Mould.

  • Experience in social housing, preferably with housing associations or local authorities.

  • Strong knowledge of damp and mould remediation and disrepair issues.

  • Project management experience, with the ability to oversee contractors and projects.

  • Full UK driving license for property visits across the region.
