This is a pivotal role for a candidate who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for young people with a wide range of special educational needs.

The school supports students aged 11-19 with diverse and complex learning needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning disabilities. The Role:

As Assistant Headteacher, you will contribute significantly to the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school. You will lead on a key area of whole-school development, supporting colleagues, students, and families to achieve the best possible outcomes in line with the school's inclusive values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a significant whole-school area such as curriculum development, behaviour and wellbeing, teaching and learning, or staff professional development

  • Support school improvement, self-evaluation, and preparation for external scrutiny.
