The Role:As Assistant Headteacher, you will contribute significantly to the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school. You will lead on a key area of whole-school development, supporting colleagues, students, and families to achieve the best possible outcomes in line with the school's inclusive values.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a significant whole-school area such as curriculum development, behaviour and wellbeing, teaching and learning, or staff professional development
- Promote effective, inclusive teaching and learning strategies across the school.
- Line manage, coach and support staff to develop best practice in SEN education.
- Support school improvement, self-evaluation, and preparation for external scrutiny.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive culture for students and staff.
- A skilled school leader with a strong track record in SEN or inclusive education.
- A deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and specialist approaches.
- Proven ability to lead change, raise standards, and support staff development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
