Veritas Education is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for flexible, day-to-day supply work across primary schools in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children's learning in a variety of settings.

About the Role:As a daily supply Teaching Assistant, you will be contacted early in the morning when schools require last-minute cover. You may be placed in different year groups across Early Years, KS1, or KS2, providing classroom support, assisting with learning activities, and supporting pupils with additional needs where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher with general classroom duties

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils

  • Adapt to different school environments and routines quickly

  • Support children with a range of educational and behavioural needs

  • Maintain a safe and positive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a primary school or educational setting

  • A flexible and proactive attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is desirable

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
