Learning Support Assistant - SEMH Support in Primary School ProvisionWe are seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to support a student with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a primary school setting in Wandsworth, starting in September 2025. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about nurturing children's emotional wellbeing and helping them thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Position: Learning Support AssistantLocation: Primary School Provision, WandsworthStart Date: September 2025

Key Responsibilities:* Provide consistent one-to-one support to a student with SEMH needs, helping them engage positively with their learning.* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies.* Offer emotional regulation support and promote positive behaviour management.* Encourage the development of self-esteem, social skills, and independent learning.* Support the student during unstructured times such as breaks, transitions, and group activities.

What We're Looking For:* Experience working with children on a 1-1 basis, ideally those with SEMH needs.* A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting behaviour and emotional wellbeing.* Strong teamwork and communication skills.* Relevant experience or qualifications in supporting students with SEN/SEMH.
