We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant, who is passionate about supporting students and enhancing their educational experience.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide tailored support to students with diverse educational needs within a classroom setting.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure students receive the support they need.
  • Assist in the development of learning materials that cater to the specific needs of students.
  • Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Facilitate small group sessions and one-to-one support to help students understand the curriculum.
  • Encourage and assist students with their independence and self-esteem in learning activities.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant.

  • Patience, empathy, and a positive, encouraging attitude towards education.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
