A well-known SEMH secondary post-16 school for boys in South-West London are looking for Learning Support Assistants to provide in-class support to a students taking up vocational/foundation courses. The school provides pathways into core subjects, foundation subjects and personal development.  They provide a broad curriculum including construction, barbering, hospitality and motor vehicle studies. In addition to this they provide a therapeutic service to their students. have Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND), however, only moderate needs. This may include autism and ADHD.

The Role

In this role you will be supporting a student aged between 14 – 18 years studying construction. This role is a FULL-TIME role.  The school are looking for someone who is proactive, willing to involve themselves with practical element of course to support their students. Some experience or knowledge of construction or construction course is beneficial, however, not essential.
