Prospero Teaching is seeking a Strong SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) for a full-time position at a popular mainstream Primary School in Plumstead, SE18, starting in September 2025.
The role requires a minimum of 1 year of Key Stage 1 or 2 experience in the UK, along with up-to-date safeguarding training from the past year.
The successful candidate will receive a minimum pay rate of £90 per day, working from 8:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
The contract is temporary, lasting until the end of the academic year in July 2026, with the possibility of extension or a permanent position based on performance.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, and provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 OR 2 experience in the UK
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
