Remedy Education is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Lewisham. This position is based within a dedicated Key Stage 3 SEN unit and involves supporting students with a range of complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with Autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, and non-verbal communication needs.

  • Assist wheelchair-bound students with mobility and personal care requirements.

  • Support students' social, emotional, and educational development in line with their individual learning plans.

  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous school-based experience working with children with special educational needs (essential)

  • A caring, patient, and resilient personality

  • The ability to provide personal care where needed

  • Experience supporting students with complex needs, including physical disabilities

  • A commitment to fostering independence and inclusion
