About the Role:
As an SEN TA, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays)
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans
- Encourage independence, emotional regulation, and academic progress
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school setting as a Teaching Assistant
- Proven experience supporting children with SEN
- A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a proactive approach to learning support

Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide support to children with autism, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Engage in effective communication with students to enhance their understanding and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and activities for early childhood education.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring their needs are met throughout the day.
- Facilitate toddler care and support during playtime and structured activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Pay: £90.00-£110.00 per day
