Prospero Teaching is seeking a Strong SEN Teaching Assistant for a mainstream Primary School in Tower Hamlets, E2.
The role is a full-time temporary position starting in September 2025 and lasting until July 2026, with potential for extension or a permanent offer based on performance.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of Key Stage 1 or 2 experience in the UK and up-to-date safeguarding training from the last year.
The minimum pay rate for the position is £90 per day, with working hours from 8:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
Applicants must hold the right to work in the UK and have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 OR 2 experience in the UK
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
