We are seeking a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work at a 1 Form Entry Catholic School in Havering,

Details of the SEN TA role:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably within a primary school setting

  • Weekly Rates of Pay: £440 - £475
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).

As a SEN TA you will be required to:

  • Have a Passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Creating and adapting learning resources to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being among students
  • Collaborating with the SENCO and external specialists to develop effective strategies

As a SEN TA within a Primary school in Havering, you will be working closely with students who require additional support. Your role will involve assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

You will be patient, empathetic, and understanding of the diverse needs of students with SEN with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
