Teaching Assistant SEN Support

Are you driven to help children who need extra support on their educational journey? We are searching for a dependable and compassionate individual to join a fantastic SEN department in Barking and Dagenham. This is a full-time, long-term role, beginning in September.

Location: Barking and Dagenham
Job Type: contract: full time and part time
Start Date: ASAP

The Role Requires:

  • Providing one-on-one and in-class assistance to students with special educational needs.
  • Fostering student engagement and emotional well-being.
  • Accurately documenting student development and behaviour.
  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, and teachers.
  • A proactive, solution-focused, and collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Your Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience supporting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting.
  • An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Availability Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • A strong commitment to inclusive education.
