We are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Southwark, who are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this May.

About the Role:

You'll be working one-to-one or in small groups to support pupils with SEN, helping them to engage in learning and make meaningful progress. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to deliver personalised support in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Has previous experience supporting children with SEN (within a school or childcare setting)
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a positive approach
  • Is reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about working with primary-aged pupils
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
