Reeson Education is recruiting a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Waltham Forest. This is a great opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a passionate support worker looking to transition into education.
The school has a strong focus on inclusion and is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism, speech and language needs, or SEMH, either 1:1 or in small groups. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to help pupils access learning and build confidence.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Details:
Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role
Support across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience
Work 1:1 or in small groups with children with additional needs
Based in a well-led school with a collaborative staff culture
What You'll Need:
Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a child-focused support role
Understanding of autism, SEMH or other additional learning needs
Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
