SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - September 2025 Start?? Location: Southwark, London?? Start Date: September 2025?? Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (Term Time Only)?? Daily Pay Rate: £96 - £104 per day (PAYE - Paid Weekly)
We are currently recruiting a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for a supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school located in the London Borough of Southwark. This full-time, long-term position is set to begin in September 2025 and is ideal for an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or aspiring Teaching Assistant seeking to build a career in SEN education.
? Key Responsibilities:-
Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, and other additional learning needs

Collaborate with the SENCO and classroom teachers to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and academic progress

Track pupil progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and reviews

Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting

Passionate about inclusive education and pupil development

Calm, patient, and resilient with strong behaviour management skills

A relevant qualification in education or SEN is desirable but not essential

Must be available Monday to Friday, full school hours, term time only

Competitive daily rate of £96 - £104, based on experience
