Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: 100 - 115 per day (depending on experience)



Job Description:

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and ready to make a real difference?

A supportive and well-resourced SEN school in Greenwich is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time, long-term role involves working closely with students who have a range of learning difficulties, including autism (ASD), speech and language delays, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

You'll play a key role in helping students access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs

  • Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and communication development

  • Implement behaviour support strategies and follow EHCP targets

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support progress

  • Support students with personal care if required (training can be provided)



Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working in an SEN or mainstream school setting

  • Strong understanding of autism and other additional needs

  • Patient, calm, and empathetic with strong communication skills

  • Comfortable with personal care or willing to learn

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK
