SEN Teaching Assistant - Reception (Lewisham, South East London)Full-Time | Term-Time Only | September 2025 Start

Tradewind are working with a supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school in Lewisham to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in their Reception (EYFS) class.

This is a full-time, term-time role starting September 2025, running until July 2026 with the potential to continue into the next academic year or lead to a permanent contract.

The Role:

Supporting a child with special educational needs in a Reception class
Delivering 1:1 support tailored to individual needs
Assisting with personal care and daily classroom routines
Working collaboratively with teachers and SENCO

Key Information:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time only)
Pay: £90-£100 per day (PAYE) - paid weeklyIncreased rate from week 13: £110-£120 per day
Contract: September 2025 to July 2026 (potential to extend or become permanent)
Location: Lewisham, South East London - great public transport links and on-site parking available

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in EYFS or KS1
Comfortable with personal care duties
Proactive, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact
