Smart Teachers are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a "Outstanding" mainstream primary school in Fulham.
About the role- You will support a child who has Autism on a 1:1 basis in a reception class
- Pupil needs extra support to access the curriculum - you will need experience with phonics
- There will be a focus on helping the pupil develop social relationships with other students
- Role will start in September on a full time basis for the academic year
- "Outstanding" 2 form entry primary school in Fulham
- Supportive SENCO, will provide support in your role
- Trained speech and language therapist work with the school to support some students
- School provide additional training for successful candidates where necessary
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Be willing to obtain an enhanced child workforce DBS
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Have experience working in schools or with children in a similar setting
