Are you a compassionate and resilient individual looking to make a meaningful impact in a primary school setting? We are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Lambeth, supporting children with a range of severe special educational needs including Autism, ADHD, and Global Developmental Delay.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with complex needs in a classroom-based role

  • Deliver 1:1 interventions as well as small group work, adapting learning activities to suit individual needs

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and support plans

  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

  • Support students with their social, emotional, and communication development



The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism, ADHD, and Global Delay

  • Be patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting pupils' individual needs

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs

  • Be reliable, punctual, and committed to full-time work
