We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for a dedicated SEN school in Middlesex. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working with children with severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, Autism, and PMLD. Candidates must be comfortable with personal care and available to work 5 days a week.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide tailored support to students with severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, Autism, and PMLD.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Facilitate communication between students and teachers, ensuring adaptations are made for individual learning needs.
  • Support students with personal care tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to promote an inclusive educational environment.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with children with severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, Autism, and PMLD.
  • Being Team Teach trained is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the needs and educational approaches for children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to perform personal care duties with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to challenging situations.
