Are you a caring and proactive individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 team from June 3rd.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve a mix of one-to-one support and small group intervention to help children with a range of special educational needs.

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, particularly in literacy and numeracy

• Run targeted small group interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO

• Help manage behaviour positively and consistently

• Support the emotional and social development of pupils with additional needs

• Assist with classroom routines and personalised learning resources

• Has previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting

• Is patient, empathetic, and able to adapt to different needs

• Can build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff

• Has a DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one)
