A supportive and well-resourced SEN school in Greenwich is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time, long-term role involves working closely with students who have a range of learning difficulties, including autism (ASD), speech and language delays, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
You'll play a key role in helping students access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs

Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and communication development

Implement behaviour support strategies and follow EHCP targets

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support progress

Support students with personal care if required (training can be provided)

Experience working in an SEN or mainstream school setting

Strong understanding of autism and other additional needs

Patient, calm, and empathetic with strong communication skills

Comfortable with personal care or willing to learn

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
