Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Lambeth
Location: Lambeth, South East London
Salary: 100 - 120 per day (depending on experience)

Remedy Education is looking to appoint a committed and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced and welcoming SEN school in Lambeth. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, and physical disabilities.
Role Summary:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide targeted support to students, helping them access learning, develop life skills, and participate fully in school life. This may include 1:1 or small group support, depending on students' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with complex needs, including non-verbal and wheelchair users
Implement individual learning plans under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
Assist with personal care tasks when required
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in a school or SEN setting (essential)
A strong understanding of Autism and associated learning needs
A calm, caring, and adaptable approach
Confidence in supporting students with communication challenges and physical needs
A collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills
