A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Haringey is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This is a full-time position supporting children with special educational needs, including ASD and speech and language difficulties. You'll deliver a combination of 1:1 support, small group instruction, and wider classroom support to help pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or a recent Psychology graduate hoping to gain meaningful SEN experience ahead of a career in teaching, therapy, or educational psychology, this role offers the perfect launchpad.

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
Supporting emotional regulation and building trusting relationships
Helping to deliver differentiated tasks through classroom support
Using behaviour strategies and progress monitoring tools effectively
Encouraging communication, engagement, and independence
Collaborating with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals
