A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wandsworth is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.

The Role:
  • Supporting individual pupils or small groups with additional needs

  • Assisting the class teacher in adapting learning materials and activities

  • Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborating with SENCO, therapists, and other staff to deliver personalised support

  • Promoting positive behaviour and social development

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Has experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)

  • Is patient, empathetic, and highly motivated

  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Can adapt to different needs and learning styles

  • Holds a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
