As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll provide vital classroom support for pupils with SEN, including autism, communication difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Schools in Enfield are known for their inclusive ethos and strong support for both staff and pupils.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
1:1 and small group support for children with SEN
Help pupils regulate behaviour and access the curriculum
Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to adapt resources and learning
Promote independence and emotional wellbeing for every child
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a child-support role
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
A patient, resilient, and caring approach
Someone enthusiastic about supporting inclusive education
