Remedy Education are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Daily Supply Teaching Assistants to support a specialist SEN academy in Greenwich. The school is a well-established provider for children and young people with complex, low-incidence needs, offering a highly nurturing, structured and personalised learning environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience working with SEN or a strong interest in supporting pupils with complex needs. Daily supply work offers flexibility while still allowing you to make a meaningful difference.
The role:
Provide classroom support to students with a range of complex needs
Assist with learning activities, therapy sessions and tailored interventions
Support pupils with communication, sensory needs and emotional regulation
Work closely with teaching staff and specialists to maintain a safe, calm and positive environment
Follow individual support plans and contribute to pupil progress throughout the day
The ideal candidate:
Experience working with SEN is highly desirable (complex needs, PMLD, ASD, medical needs etc.)
Calm, patient and confident supporting pupils with varied learning and physical needs
Able to follow guidance and communicate effectively with staff
Flexible and reliable - able to commit to daily supply bookings
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
