SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life? A welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a supportive and enthusiastic individual to work one-to-one with a child with Autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support and help the child thrive both academically and socially.

• Full-time, long-term position available for September

• Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD and SEMH

• Working closely with the SENCO, class teachers and outside professionals to deliver targeted interventions

• Providing one-to-one and small group support both in and out of the classroom

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school, care or youth work setting is desirable

• Patience, empathy, resilience and excellent communication skills essential

• Great opportunity for psychology graduates or those interested in careers within education, therapy or social care

• Training and CPD opportunities available

• Located in Camden with strong public transport connections
