Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Autism and complex needs? Are you confident in providing personal care and supporting high-energy pupils in an Early Years setting?

SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive 3-form entry Primary School in Camden to recruit an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Nursery team. This is a full-time position starting immediately and continuing until July 2026.

You will be working 1:1 with a Nursery-aged pupil who has a diagnosis of Autism and complex needs. This young learner requires:

A highly vigilant adult who can maintain a calm, structured, and engaging environment

A TA who is confident with high-energy pupils and can redirect behaviours positively

Someone experienced with providing personal care when required

A calm, nurturing presence with strong communication skills and a proactive approach

Previous experience working with children with Autism and complex needs (preferably in Early Years)

Understanding of sensory needs and experience with de-escalation strategies

Comfortable with personal care duties

Reliable, patient, and able to work collaboratively with staff and external professionals

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
