A large, popular junior school in Leytonstone are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1 to 1 basis for the summer term.

The Role

In this role you will be based in Year 6 working with a child with SEMH & ADHD who requires support in lessons and accessing academic activities. The child is very keen to be part of the class but requires support to manage their emotions and behaviour so a calm, confident approach will be essential. Part of your role will be supporting the child to take part in group work in the class and supporting them to work with her peers. You will be required at times to provide staffing cover at playtimes. Alongside supporting the pupil on a 1 to 1 basis, you will be involved in supporting the teacher with preparation and administration tasks as required.

The role is offered on a full-time contract basis for the summer-term.
