The Role:As an SEN TA, you will work closely with students who have a range of additional needs-including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. You will support them in the classroom, help implement individual education plans, and contribute to creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN

Assist with adapting classroom materials and delivering tailored interventions

Help students develop their confidence, independence, and learning skills

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENCo to monitor progress

Contribute to creating a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

A genuine interest in supporting students with additional needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A calm, resilient and patient approach

Experience working with children or young people is desirable

A background in education, psychology, youth work, or SEN support is a plus
