Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or SEND Support Assistant looking for rewarding work in South East London schools? Do you have a background in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or physical and learning difficulties?

Remedy Education is recruiting committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants for flexible roles in primary, secondary, and specialist SEN schools across South East London.

Role Responsibilities:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis with tailored learning interventions

  • Assisting teachers with classroom management and differentiated lesson delivery

  • Providing direct support to students with complex needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and sensory or physical disabilities

  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Assisting with personal care, where required

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have previous experience as a TA, SEN TA, LSA, or support worker in a school or care setting

  • Have experience delivering personal care

  • Are confident working with a range of additional needs

  • Demonstrate strong communication, patience, and empathy

  • Are reliable, flexible, and able to work at short notice
