A welcoming and well-resourced secondary SEN school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025. This is a long-term opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young people with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).

Working closely with teachers and therapists, you will support students across the school, helping to deliver a highly personalised, sensory-based curriculum. This is a rewarding and hands-on role that requires patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting learners with complex needs.

Your Role Will Involve:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with PMLD and SLD

  • Assisting with personal care and supporting physical needs where required

  • Helping to deliver engaging, differentiated learning activities

  • Supporting communication using tools like PECS, Makaton, or AAC

  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
