SEN Teaching Assistant

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: West Kensington, W14
Contract Type: Full-time
Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm
Salary: £100-£115 per day

We are working with an Independent Prep School in West Kensington, who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant and caring school community.

The Role:

  • Working with on a 1:1 basis with a boy in Year 4
  • You will be based both in the classroom and outside the classroom, carrying out various activities such as sports, arts & crafts, games etc
  • You will help to create a supportive and engaging environment, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs the children

About You: We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEN and has the following:

  • Previous experience working with SEN children with ASD & , preferably in a primary school OR SEN setting
  • Comes from a Sports background who enjoys coaching children and getting involved in sports activities (desirable)
  • Understanding of the various special educational needs and strategies for supporting them
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
