The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Lewisham from September 2025. In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and make sustained progress. Your responsibilities will include one-to-one and small-group support, implementing individual education plans (IEPs), and promoting pupils’ social and emotional development. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with SEN, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping every child achieve their potential.
