Here at Remedy we are seeking Daily Supply Teaching Assistants to cover positions in and around East London. Daily supply involves providing cover for absent staff members on a day-to-day basis, offering flexibility for those seeking part-time or temporary roles, such as university students or individuals looking for summer work.

As a Daily Supply Teaching Assistant, no two days will be the same. You will play a vital role in supporting teaching delivering the best support to children with learning difficulties and disabilities.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.

Requirements:
