Academics are looking for a SEN teaching assistant to work in a vibrant and inclusive school located in Kensington and Chelsea. The school has a well-structured curriculum from early years to year 6. We are looking for a passionate, patient and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring they have the best possible learning experience.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1 and KS2)
Location: School located in Kensington and Chelsea
Contract Type: Full-Time - Monday to Friday
Daily Rate: £90-£110 (Choice of Umbrella or PAYE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with various SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans, ensuring students' individual needs are met.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to track student progress and contribute to the development of strategies to support learning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students with SEN, helping them build confidence and independence.
  • Encourage and promote positive behaviour and attitudes within the school community.
