Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich is looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs across EYFS and KS1.

ROLE DETAILS

  • SEN Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with additional needs

  • Full-time role starting September 2025

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to deliver targeted academic and social-emotional support

  • Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals



PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Experience supporting children with SEN, or strong motivation to start

  • Interest in inclusive education, child development, or psychology

  • Patient, compassionate, and adaptable in a dynamic school environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

  • Proactive, reflective, and open to training and development
