Salary: £105–£110 per day

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil at a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Westminster. The pupil is on the autistic spectrum and currently working at a Year 1 level, requiring tailored support to access the curriculum and navigate the school day. This is a full-time position with the potential to become a long-term placement.

What we are looking for

  • Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in Key Stage 2

  • Confidence working with pupils with ASD and communication/emotional regulation needs

  • A calm, structured approach to learning and behaviour management

  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • A collaborative mindset to work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
