We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated SEN Coordinator on an agency basis.
This hybrid role involves both SEN administration and casework, requiring more expertise than a general admin position.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload and may be responsible for writing or amending EHC plans.
A minimum of two years of experience in a statutory SEN service or a local authority SEND service is essential for this role.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for aSEN Coordinator at Sirona Medical Social Work department.This role is a hybrid role between SEN admin and SEN casework. It is a not exclusively an EHC plan writing role but requires someone with more experience and knowledge than a general admin or business support officer as they will hold a caseload and may be required to write or amend EHC plans. They will be a first line of contact with young people, families and settings and will also process some finance tasks such as processing payment schedules to schools for high needs top ups.

Experience/Knowledge

Knowledge of SEN, Post-16 transfer and what makes up an EHC plan is essential
Experience working in a statutory SEN service
Experience working for a local authority SEND service
