SEND Teacher needed

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting qualified Teachers to join a complex SEND school in Barking and Dagenham, supporting pupils with a range of needs across different age groups.

About the School:

  • A well-established SEND school based in Barking and Dagenham
  • Supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)

This is a Monday to Friday role, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, within a well-resourced and supportive special school environment catering to pupils aged 4 to 19 years.

About the Role:

  • Teach and support small classes of up to 7-10 pupils.
  • Work with students with a range of complex needs, including:
  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)
  • Other complex learning difficulties
  • Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and flexible learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of teaching assistants and support staff
  • Able to travel to Barking and Dagenham


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
