This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that places wellbeing, creativity, and personalised learning at the heart of everything it does.

The Role:

You will take the lead in a small, well-supported KS2 class for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The school offers a therapeutic approach to learning, with strong links to external specialists and a commitment to holistic development.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Creating a calm, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including therapists and support staff
  • Tracking progress and adapting strategies to ensure every child achieves their potential
  • Building strong relationships with families and carers to support learning beyond the classroom

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly in Key Stage 2
